It was easy to make an appointment for an unexpected health concern, I was able to quickly get test results I needed, and I was even given a prescription to help me recover that I wouldn't have even thought to request on my own. It's good to know there's an option like this for when quick care is needed.

I was there on Saturday morning. Today it's Wednesday and I have yet to receive results for my STD tests.

The nurse did not use descriptive language about how she would draw blood. She said she was going to cut my finger just like you cut your finger with a knife and asked me if haven’t I ever cut myself before? She said that’s what the pain feels like. She was rude and sarcastic at times. She was micromanaging how I lifted my shirt, how I should show my ID card, how I should sit and where. I fainted in the room after blood was drawn. There was no cold water. She got it from the store and asked me to pay for it when I left. Won’t be coming back.

I had an appointment at 8:40 in the morning. Got there checked in and had to wait until close to 10 am because the NP was “running late.” According to the employees she shows up at 9:30-10 every single day which means she’s always late. Why offer early appointment slots if the NP will be late .

Overall the diagnosis and process talking about the medical issue was satisfactory. However, I wanted to share two topics why I am giving this experience a 3/10: 1) I came in for a test for a UTI. I was asked to give a urine sample and go to the CVS bathroom across the store to do so. The NP told me to leave my stuff in the room with her (do not take it) while I went to the bathroom. As I was walking away to go to the bathroom, about 15 feet away, she told me that she was going to see the other patient while I was gone. I came back from giving the sample and all of my stuff (wallet, phone, water bottle, backpack) was locked in the exam room with the NP and this other patient. I waited another 15-20 minutes just holding this urine sample in a bag waiting while she finished up. I was very thirsty, did not have my wallet so I could not buy another water, did not have access to anything I brought, and personally was hoping my wallet wasn't going to be stolen while I was waiting since it was effectively with a stranger (the patient) while I was milling about waiting to finish my appointment. I also felt like my appointment was hijacked accidentally by this other patient and now I had to wait around for her to finish. Collecting the sample took less than five minutes; I wish the NP would have waited for me and also wish she had not told me not to bring my stuff with me. 2) As mentioned above, I came in to discuss that I might have a UTI. As part of the process I told her that I did Peloton bike 5X a week and wasn't sure whether I had a UTI or this was an issue of poor seat height with the bike/urinary medical issue caused by the bike. When I came back into the room after giving the sample, she made a comment: "I can see you are trying to lose your weight". I looked puzzled, so she added "because you are doing Peloton so much!" I was not doing Peloton to lose weight. I have had an issue with eating disorders and I felt this comment was totally out of line and made me feel very self conscious and just awful.

My visit went as well as I expected. Delayed from the start, but I was given time to be seen and boxes checked like pulse ox, blood pressure, listening to the chest for pneumonia or bronchitis. I requested a Strep culture, but only a rapid was given, that ended returning negative. My son was only positive with Type B Strep off a culture test and was saddened that I could not get a culture test. No script was written and my insurance has blocked their payment. This visit that told me nothing was expensive and worse, our GP immediately put me on antibiotics fully believing the negative rapid was useless and my exposure from my kid had been enough to just put me on something, saying this Clinic should have followed a better protocol and put me on a preventative round. So, I get to pay twice, adding insult to my sickness. I will not be a return customer.
