Don’t fucking charge people if you refuse them service, dickheads.
The Nurse Practioner on duty, The Provider (Clinic in CVS/Bryant Irvin Road), was very professional, knowledgeable and a JOY to meet with and have handle my care.
Quick, friendly, organized, well informed
The person that helped me was very friendly and probably following protocol, but it wasn't helpful to me. I was pretty sure that I had step throat since I've had it several times before. My thoat was on fire and it hurt to touch it on the outside. I appreciated that she ran a Covid, Flu and Strep test. But the results said I didn't have any of those. Maybe it was too early to detect, but...it hurt soooo bad to swallow later that evening. There was no antibiotic or prescribed. I went to Care Now less than 24 hours later. I did have strep and had the white spots at the back of my throat. They prescribed Amoxicillin which helped quickly. I wouldn't have complained, but since you asked...I decided to share my experience. I'm not saying she did anything wrong...and she was very kind, but it seems that something was missed since it was so bad hours later.
Lots of coughing, stuffy nose, drainage raw throat, sinus tenderness.
The most efficient appointment! I waited maybe 5 minutes before getting called back. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. The prescription was filled in store and only took about 20 minutes. Definitely my go-to from now on, so much easier and more comfortable than a regular ER.
I’ve had ear irrigation with CVS minute Clinics multiple times. Usually the professional would put ear drops to soften wax to insure all wax is able to be extracted from the ear. This visit the NP immediately began to apply saline solution (very rough) causing mild ear bleeding. She proceeded to advise me to purchase ear wax removal and reschedule another appointment. NP advised me to put drops in ear prior to appointment. I am currently looking for another provider to resolve the matter.
Practitioner The Provider very nice young lady
I was frustrated to pay over $100 and have test run that I had already done (flu) just to be told it was viral and to keep doing what I was doing. At the very least I feel I should have been offered a few days of steroids to help make my symptoms more comfortable. B
