MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 580 Marketplace Dr, Bel Air, Maryland 21014
There are many reasons why people come down to the Bel Air Plaza on Marketplace Drive. There are plenty of businesses and restaurants to enjoy in the area, including a Target. You can purchase an array of items inside the Target, including food, toys and clothes. However, this store also has a CVS Pharmacy® inside where you can pick up any prescriptions you have. You can also come here when you need vaccinations or require a medical check-up because there is also a first-class MinuteClinic®.
Everything you need to know about our clinic
Our MinuteClinic® is staffed by skilled family nurse practitioners and physician assistants. These practitioners have received the same training, education and experience you would expect of anyone working in a standalone urgent care center. You can make an appointment, or you can walk in after you searched online for “walk in clinic near me.” You can come by any day of the week, and you can also go online to see how long the current wait is.
Services you can get here
After signing in, you will be led to an exam room in the back. One of our practitioners will come in to ask you about your symptoms and come up with a thorough treatment plan from there. This treatment plan can include writing you a prescription if he or she sees it fit. Here are some of the services you can get here.
- Minor injuries: Treatment for blisters, cuts, small burns, joint pain, bug stings and bug bites
- Minor illnesses: Treatment for bladder infections, strep throats, oral pain, indigestion, heartburn, bronchitis, nausea, gout, ear aches and allergies
- Skin conditions: Evaluation and treatment for rosacea, lice, athlete’s foot, sunburn, dermatitis, acne, chicken pox, scabies and mouth sores
- Vaccinations: Protection against the flu, HPV, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, shingles, whooping cough, pneumonia, meningitis, polio and tetanus
- Screenings and monitorings: Basic health screenings for those with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol level and asthma
Additional services from your phone
Anyone in Maryland can take advantage of Virtual Care services. It may not be possible for you to visit our clinic physically, but you have a condition that requires prompt examination. When you have allergies, ear aches, skin conditions, sinus infections, upset stomachs or something else, you can video chat with a trained nurse practitioner. Women can even use this service for yeast infections and UTIs.
First, you will need to sign into your account and pay the Virtual Care fee. You will soon be chatting with a healthcare provider who will assess your condition. The provider will come up with a treatment plan, and this can include giving you a new prescription. These video visits can be used for patients at least two years of age and up.
