MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 200 South Lincoln Avenue, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940
Newtown might have a population of just over 2200, but this tiny borough packs an outsized amount of history and cultural value. First founded by William Penn in the 17th century, Newtown is now home to America's oldest movie theater, the Law School Admission Council and Tyler State Park. Newtown residents are also less than an hour's drive from Philadelphia. But in order to make the most of a day in the big city or out on the hiking trails, you've got to be healthy, and that's where MinuteClinic® comes in. We're your best local healthcare option when you need a quick prescription, some first aid or a flu shot.
Services MinuteClinic® provides
Our goal is to make basic healthcare available to everyone who needs it. To achieve this, our walk-in clinic offers more than 125 services in all. We can treat your non-emergency illnesses, minor injuries and skin conditions. You can also visit us for physicals, vaccinations and health screenings, among other things. Check our website for a full list of services our clinic provides.
There's no need to suffer more than you have to when you're sick. Stop in or make an appointment with us right away if you're experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Fever or chills
- Sore throat
- Unexplained fatigue
- Eye irritation
- Skin rash
- Nausea or vomiting
- Ear, mouth or joint pain
Friendly, highly qualified practitioners
All of our MinuteClinic® locations are staffed by certified family nurse practitioners. Our practitioners are highly trained and qualified to provide many of the same services as your primary care provider. They are also experienced at treating patients of all ages, from babies to seniors. The practitioner you see at MinuteClinic® can do all of the following for you:
- Diagnose your illness
- Give you any vaccines or injections you need
- Write prescriptions
- Administer physicals
- Provide trustworthy medical advice
- Direct you to other health resources
- Refer you to a medical specialist if necessary
If you have a primary doctor and you want them to know about your treatment at MinuteClinic®, tell the practitioner you see during your visit. They will write up a summary of the care you received and ensure that your regular doctor receives it.
Payments we accept
Our MinuteClinic® services are covered by many major health insurance plans. You can use the insurance checker on our website to find out whether our clinic is in network for you. Your plan may cover some of our services but not others, so we recommend also contacting your provider directly to find out what your visit will cost. If you do not have health insurance, or if you would rather pay for your visit out of pocket, we accept cash, checks and credit cards. See our website for a price breakdown of our services.
