efficient and clear
I recently booked an appointment at the Minute Clinic on Sunset Boulevard for earwax removal. During the appointment, she attempted to remove earwax from both ears but failed on one. She explained that the water needed to be room temperature and neglected to apply ear drops and leave for 5-10 mins as per the instructions on the box. She attempted to do it for over 20 minutes and then said there was nothing more she could do. This oversight is why I’m writing. After the appointment, we purchased the earwax removal kit from CVS and it worked perfectly on the other ear, removing the blockage. The clinic technician failed to follow the CVS kit’s instructions, leaving the blocked earwax intact. We were charged $161 for the appointment and then had to purchase the kit separately. I feel that this was unsatisfactory service and an extremely high charge for the service, when the kit only cost $33.
The practitioner did not want to be at work at all. Several comments were made that were unprofessional; 'symptoms 4 days and people want antibiotics, I don't have time for that' I explained I tried to make an appointment over the weekend but the facility was closed. I was glared at and told other places were open. I worked all weekend and was trying to find a place close to work so I could go before or after work. This person had no compassion. They literally were just there to collect a paycheck.
Excellent
The nurse at the Harbison location was very kind, and she did a great job administering the injection. I would recommend.
The nurse was great but the lady who prescribed my medication was terrible . Very aggressive, angry, rude and condescending. Have never met a medical professional with such an attitude. I didn’t even bother talking to her about the second issue I had, just wanted to get out of there. Utterly unprofessional!
Even though I scheduled an appointment, the wait was about a half hour. I was experiencing extreme throat pain, popping ears, low grade fever, chills. Caregivers never actually listened to my hearth, or check my ears for possible inflammation or ear infection. Since I had been experiencing symptoms for more than 7 days a low dosage of antibiotics was prescribed.
Process when starting online then coming to the store could have been smoother and more clear but overall the service from the clinic staff was very good.
Staff was amazing! In and out quickly! Very kind nurses!
