Practitioner was lovely, I have nothing to say about the service she provided, but the negatives are: - wait time. I was on the wait list and ended up waiting almost 45 minutes after checking in on time - the practitioner was by herself and going from room to room, leaving us waiting in the room between 2 activities - the room looked a little dirty and outdated
Providera was wonderful, she answered my questions and was great! I love that medical attention is so close to my work, and has so many appointments during the day, specially after work hours. I love Minute Clinic because they can prescribe and feel relieved that I can get an answer right away, instead of waiting one day in a doctor's office, and asking to leave my work to go. Thank you for providing health care close home/work and having appointments during the weekend and after work hours.
The nurse practitioner was so kind and friendly. She spent enough time with us and we felt heard. She explained everything in a way that made sense and she also let us know how we could contact her if things worsened.
Before I start, I just want to say that the level of unprofessionalism, discrimination and overall embarrassing experience I had at this location is why I will never be back. I will also be leaving a Google review and reporting this to CVS corporate. I came into the Minute Clinic on 3/5/2025 to get my medication Bupropion filled, 300 mg. The reason I came to minute clinic is because my PCP retired in Flower Mound and having recently moved to the Colony, this location is much closer. When I arrived I was greeted by The Provider. She told me that I indicated that my visit was for a one time medication refill. I told her that was there to get my medication refilled and also get established so I can continue to get my 3 month refills. The Provider seemed confused and expressed that I could only get this medication once, and then I couldn't fill it for a year. It took me around 15 minutes to try to explain to The Provider, why I was there, while I was repeatedly talked over, talked down to and [...] told her credentials several times as a way of insulting my intelligence. I explained to her that I was told by another practitioner at that location that they can act as a PCP and I needed to get my depression/anxiety medication filled because I only had 4 pills left. The Provider then went through a slew of old medications that I took years ago and I had to tell her once again that I was there to get my Bupropion filled only. The Provider then spent the next 20 min on her computer telling me that she could fill the 300 mg, then told me she couldn't, then told me that she could only do 150 mg because Bupropion can cause increased blood pressure. I explained again that I had been taking this medicine for 7 years, since my daughter was born. The Provider then contacted a woman Dr on the phone and explained my situation and the woman on the phone said that it would be fine to refill my medicine and it was her call. The Provider then said she couldn't fill the medication. I asked why as I had just heard the woman on the phone say it was OK. Ms. then proceeded to tell me that she didn't want to get into trouble and since Bupropion caused high blood pressure, she was not going to. I stressed the importance of getting my medication filled as I didn't have a new PCP at the time and I was panicking. Ms. Shah then doubled down again and said that she could maybe do 150 MG, I then explained that I have been taking 300mg for 7 years. Ms. Shah called the woman Dr again and asked if it was ok to give me the 300 mg and the Dr told her again that it shouldn't be an issue and its up to her. Ms. Shah then tell me that she will only give me 150 mg. She then asked what CVS I used and I said the one in the Colony. Ms. Shah then proceeded to call CVS in front of me and confirm that I had been taking the medicine for which they did. This made me feel unbelievably uncomfortable and made me feel like Ms. Shah didn't believe me and made me feel like a drug seeker. I told her this and she ensured me that every provider does this, which is 100% false because none of my Dr's ever did that to me. The whole experience made me feel so uncomfortable and degraded. This office visit was only supposed to take 15 min tops, instead it took almost an hr due to Ms. Shah's inability to understand my situation, her lack of empathy and professionalism and her attitude during this entire visit was deplorable. I was almost in tears when I left due to her making me feel like a drug seeker and a liar. I will never be back to Minute Clinic solely because of her behavior. Thank you
The doctor was very competent and skilled. She was also very friendly --- enjoyed the visit --
Wait time was minimal
The Nurse Practitioner was amazing, patient, and caring. She provided excellent service and shared helpful tips for continued health.
All you did was push vaccinations and never really addressed the issue of why I came in. I beleive I have the flu or something
I felt minute clinic was a smooth process and they helped me with my health issue and I saw improvement.
