Friendly Nurse Practitioner and listened. Hoping the diagnosis and medication provided works.
I went to get checked out because I was feeling unwell, and I can't believe they only gave me Tylenol. The doctors are so bad—it's truly unbelievable.
I was not informed that this would be billed as a travel visit. I went in with knowledge based on research about what vaccines I needed. The doctor told me I did not need the vaccine, when I prompted her that my research showed I did she looked it up again on the CDC website using google and said after all I was correct and I did need this vaccine. I then realized based on a sign on the wall that this vaccine would be $225 which I was not made aware of ahead of the visit, so I said I did not want to move forward with the vaccine because of the high cost. The doctor then told me that I would still be charged for a travel visit since she had looked up my vaccine records - even though I had to correct her information and research. She then went on to take my vitals even though I said I did not want this. I also asked about cholera and she said she didn't know because this was not a travel clinic; but then charged me for a travel visit.
The nurse was fabulous. Friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience. If I had any complaints, it is with the website. The day before, the website said the location was accepting walk-ins. So I went down to the clinic. The nurse was there, and free, but the check-in system at the clinic said there were no spots. So the nurse said that he assumed he couldn't see me. Very strange.
It was a fast process and the doctor was friendly and explained things well. The assistant was not able to draw my blood, and I was sent to Quest with my orders. I do have small veins but it would be great if staff were trained to draw blood on all veins the first try.
The provider was kind and thorough. Would recommend this location and use this location and provider again.
The NP was so nice and on schedule! It was so easy.
I was quickly by an extremely competent triage nurse and nurse practitioner both. In and out quickly with a prescription.
PA was very attentive and thoughtful when discussing. Y symptoms and prescribing medication. 10 out of 10
