The visit was good but I do have feedback about the billing process. My insurance covers travel vaccines 100% but they must be given as part of a medical visit. My regular doctor doesn’t administer the typhoid shot which was the kind I wanted, as opposed to the oral vaccine. So after consulting my insurance company, I scheduled at minuteclinic because you are in network and you could bill the visit/injection as a medical visit. The reality was very different. At the visit, the medical staff couldn’t submit the claim - said the option to bill insurance was greyed out. So we had to pay $225 out of pocket. I’m going to submit a claim and hopefully be reimbursed but it seems like it would be much better if minuteclinic could handle the claim using its infrastructure.

I came in with a rash on my face, I do not feel like the person on duty was helpful, mentioned that the RX she could give me should not be used on my face, however still prescribed it to me. I had mentioned that my dermatologist had prescribed a cream in the past and hopefully she would have been able to see something in my record or prescribed something that could be used on my face. Ended up with something I cannot use and using what was left of an old prescription and getting the Benadryl she suggested in addition to the ointment I cannot and not suppose to use on my face.

Timely, friendly and responsive. In and out very fast, but not too fast.

The Provider was a delight to see again. She diagnosed my symptoms and made the appropriate medicine. Big thank you to her.

The physician was excellent. Available to see me at my scheduled time and spent the time to listen to my concerns, checked my symptoms, quickly performed the tests, and prescribed me medications that helped me feel better immediately. She asked questions and showed interest in my overall health, well being, and illness.

The RN was excellent - efficient, empathetic and very helpful. Thank you!
