Philadelphia is a great place to live and raise a family, but even the most diehard Philly fans can agree that the city is a bit congested. Because of that fact, it may take up to a half an hour to travel just a few blocks. If you're feeling under the weather, you probably don't want to sit in a car or on a bus or to trek several blocks just to have your doctor tell you that you have a virus and need to go to your local pharmacy.

You can cut out the travel and the minuteman and head straight to our MinuteClinic®, located right within our CVS Pharmacy® at the corner of Spruce Street and South 15th Street. You can find us between the Romanian Museum and Gallery and the Kimmel Center, and right across the street from Fox and Hound.

We're qualified to offer routine healthcare services

Your health is your number one asset. For this reason alone, you should not only not put off well checks and other maintenance visits but also, if your body signals that something is off, you should get in to see a doctor immediately. We get it, though – scheduling and keeping doctor's appointments is not always easy, especially when you're juggling a full-time job, a family and other responsibilities.

Our CVS Pharmacy® strives to make healthcare as easy as possibly by providing diagnostic and treatment services for minor conditions right within our store. Some of the more common ailments our practitioners are qualified to treat and diagnose include the following:

  • Cold, flu and upper respiratory infections
  • Heartburn and indigestion
  • Ear infections
  • Sinus infections
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Eczema
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Pink eye
  • Bronchitis
  • Mononucleosis and strep

In addition to treating illnesses, we can also help treat minor wounds such as first-degree burns, cuts and small lacerations. If you want to get a gauge of your health, we can perform a routine physical, blood pressure check and cholesterol tests.

Let us boost your immune system

CVS Pharmacy® stores across the nation are committed to keeping communities healthy. Our store, with its MinuteClinic® conveniently located in the back, is able to do that by offering immunizations to prevent common and possibly life-threatening illnesses. In addition to the annual flu shot, we offer the Tdap, MMR, pertussis, meningitis, polio and countless other vaccines. While children are required to get many of these immunizations for school, we encourage adults to get them as well, as herd immunity is the best type of immunity.

You may have heard that the annual flu shot is not 100 percent effective. This is true. However, it is still worth your while to get it. The flu is extremely dangerous and cause life-threatening complications. The flu shot vaccine can help your body fight the virus should you contract it and significantly reduce your risk for developing complications. If you and your loved ones are able, visit our store to get your flu shot at the start of flu season or anytime throughout the season.

We're looking forward to helping you

Whether you live within the city limits or in the suburbs of Philly, it's nice to know that you can access healthcare without too much hassle, thanks to our MinuteClinic®. To find our Spruce Street store, Google "find a walk in clinic near me" or call 1-866-389-2727 for driving directions.
