Went with uti symptoms, clinic didn’t have specimen cups for urine!!
Excellent Nurse Practitioner
Very efficient and knowledgeable
I provided my insurance card & photo id and also stated that I havent had Aetna insurance in years when I had the appointment so I dont understand why I then had to call 4 times to have my insurance updated (AGAIN) since this isnt the first time Ive gone to MinuteClinic & get all of my RX at the same CVS location for years! I was also informed I should "call the lab - LabCorp to ensure that the insurance is applied correctly or I might get a surprise bill." This created a lot of work/wasted time & energy.
The Provider the nurse practitioner is excellent!
The timeliness was wonderful. The physician was very nice and did recommend to see a specialist which I did and was told to stop the medicine the Minute Clinic physician said to take. It was not doing anything for my condition. There was better medication for my issue. Still I'm glad I had things checked out. The only thing that was somewhat troubling is that the physician did not wear gloves when I was examined. That should be corrected for health reasons.

I had what I thought was a possible tick bite but it was in a spot that I couldn't easily see. Since it was sore, itchy and for what I could tell, looked red, I made an appointment at the minute clinic. Since the bite was at the back of my thigh the only way the male nurse would have been able to see it was for me to remove my pants. He felt he couldn't ask me to do that since there wasn't another woman there to chaperone. I thought I'd have to leave but we were able to pull up my pant leg so he could examine the bite. The question is how do you handle a woman coming in with a bite or wound that requires her to remove some of her clothes when there is a male nurse?
