I had all the classic symptoms of the flu. I went in to the minute clinic having first realize the symptoms 36 hours prior. The lady helping me didn’t know the difference between Excedrin and ibuprofen. She said I was already too far into the flu to get Provideriflu. She also didn’t want to swab me for the flu because she said it’s been too far. So I wasted an hour of my time getting absolutely nowhere. In addition to all that one of her comments was “geez, I don’t really know what’s going on with you“. I usually go to the urgent care on the rare occasions. I have to at dignity health. I will continue to go there from now on and quite honestly never go back to CVS minute clinic and advise anybody else that wants to, to stay far away. It was embarrassing.
Fast and efficient
We know everyone is different, but we know our bodies and the nurse kept calling us liars, not straight up but saying that’s so weird not likely and how come you got sick together that’s not how it happens, she was very uncomfortable to work with not that office ever again
The young lady was so busy but kept her composure. Was so apologetic for running behind schedule. Was most thorough and very knowledgeable. Explained everything.
The nurse practitioner was great! She looked in my ears and my throat, listened to my heart and lungs. Many medical practitioners (both NPs, PAs, and MDs) don't do any physical assessment, so this really impressed me.
The Provider, the nurse practitioner that administered care was very professional, thorough, and compassionate. She was very caring and took the time to explain everything to me.
