A patient-friendly approach to medical care
The most obvious difference between our clinic and a regular doctor’s office may be that we’re inside a CVS Pharmacy®. This proximity makes sense for several reasons, especially the fact that patients can fill prescriptions and shop for health care items after seeing a medical professional. You can create a personal CVS account and earn ExtraCare® rewards.
Our approach also includes the following:
- Availability seven days a week
- Walk-ins welcome
- Approximate wait times posted online
- Most insurance plans accepted and uninsured patients OK
- Mix of payment options accepted, including cash
- Diverse blend of treatments and procedures
- Ability to make an appointment much of the time
- Price lists posted online so there’s no guesswork
- Reasonable prices
- Communication with your regular doctor’s office (with your OK)
The procedures and treatments we provide
We help patients who have minor illnesses, injuries or skin conditions. For example, our medical professionals diagnose and treat sinus infections and congestion, mouth and oral conditions, nausea, vomiting, pink eye and strep throat. We can also assist if you’re dealing with a bug bite or sting, joint pain, cut, blister, wound or sprain. Skin conditions such as lice, rosacea, chicken pox and cold sores fall under our purview as well.
Vaccinations are one big reason patients come to the clinic. Whether you need a flu shot or a MMR, IPV or DTaP vaccine, you can get one here along with a host of other vaccinations.
Our women’s services include birth control care, pregnancy evaluations and treatment for ailments such as yeast infections and UTIs. In addition, our MinuteClinic® medical professionals provide a range of screening, monitoring and treatment assistance with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Also, stop by our clinic if you’re taking a big trip in the next four to six weeks, especially if motion sickness or traveler’s diarrhea is a concern. Ditto if the area you’re visiting is known for malaria, the Zika virus or typhoid fever.
That’s not all. We can assist with weight loss, smoking cessation, TB testing, physicals for sports and college, and even ear wax removal. You can find a complete list of services online.
