Hello! I just wanted to reach out and provide details about my recent interactions with staff at two different CVS locations on Saturday April 18th, 2026. I initially made a Minute-Clinic appointment for a sore throat at the Leawood, Kansas location near my home (11729 Roe Ave. Leawood, KS 66211). I got a text message right before my appointment that it was cancelled. I was willing to come it at a later time if that was the issue so I called to inquire if that was the best thing to do. The woman on the phone was very rude and short with me- saying the nurse practitioner was late due to car trouble. She said she had no control over anything having to do with the Minute Clinic and offered me a 1-800 number to call. I understand that people have a bad day sometimes, so I didn’t argue with her on the phone, but I decided NOT to make another appointment at this location. I chose to try a different Minute Clinic- the one at 13101 State Line Rd Kansas City, MO 64145. I had a GREAT experience here! It was really clean and the check-in process was really easy. The best part of the whole thing was the interaction with the medical provider- Providert[...], NP. I came in really stressed because of my cancelled appointment earlier that morning from the other location. I also wasn’t feeling well and had my two boys with me (ages 6.5 and almost 5). Providertney was so kind & calm the whole time. She listened to me and was AMAZING with my kids. My youngest has a lot of energy and was asking a lot of questions (for example- “what is that?” “What is blood pressure?” “Does the heart have blood in it?”) and Brittney was great with him, took the time to answer some of his questions, and made my kids feel so included. This interaction totally turned my stressful day around - so thank you Brittney for your kindness!!

Same day appointment, knowledgeable and kind NP…..

I felt it was odd that the layout of the room forced the practitioner to have their back to me while working on the computer.

I received excellent care in a timely manner

I found it easy and quick to schedule the appointment at a convenient time. The practitioner was friendly, courteous and attentive. She explained everything clearly and I’m feeling much better already.

The clinic overall did a good job helping me work through some problems I have had obtaining my DOT physical. For this particular visit The Provider did a great job addressing my situation amd helping me get the DOT physical that I needed.
