The Nurse Practitioner I saw was very empathic and knowledgeable. I also liked the fact that a person can book a time. It was all so very easy. Thank you.
I got in quickly and was treated well

My son was seen at the minute clinic for a strep test. The attending practitioner swabbed just one side of his throat for not even a full second. She then used the rapid test machine. Twice this occurred and the rapid strep machine sent an error. Since this one did not work she then got out a machine for rapid strep that was not the preferred one to use. She again quickly swabbed my son's throat (again this was so fast I am not sure she even swabbed the infected tonsil as it had white pus pockets all over it) The machine again errored but showed a minus sign so told us it was negative and sent us on our way. The next morning my son was still in pain crying. I was able to get him in within a few hours to our primarycare doctor. The nurse at this location swabbed both sides of his throat and said she needed to take the swab of his throat for a count of ten. This was then put into the rapid strep test. Within moments the test read positive. Due to the lack of care at CVS we were delayed patient care for nearly 24 hours. I was very disappointed with the level of care we received at CVS and will not use this service again.
She did an excellent job of examining me much better than my regular doctor!
