Everything was great.
I am particularly impressed with your staff.
Quality care
As a person who falls between the cracks of "making too much" to get help with medical insurance, but doesn't actually make enough to pay for medical insurance, the Minite Clinic at Platte City, Missouri has been my saving grace for years. I generally go once or twice a year, when I get sick. I am prone to respiratory infections, bronchitis and pneumonia. The nurse practitioner, Providerger, that used to be there always took care of me, and even made sure I had refills on maintenance medications and inhalers. I went in, paid my $102, got checked over, left with my inhaler, steroid and antibiotics, plus refills for my allergy medicine and asthma medicine, went home healed, and got better. We are not the type of people that miss work, and sometimes it really isn't even a possibility to miss work, and understood that, and treated my needs. The experience that I had yesterday was the worst doctor care I have ever received in my life. I go in for my appointment, thinking I'm trying to catch this on the front side before I am unable to work. Had a dry barking cough for 4days. Sore throat, related to said cough. OTC cough meds not helping. This doctor freaks out, tells me I need to go to the emergency department for antibiotics. Ma'am you are a doctor. Why don't you prescribe me the antibiotics? No refill for inhaler. No help. $161. See you later. I go to St Luke's where they tell me yes, bronchitis, give me my steroid and antibiotics and I go on my way with a bill of who knows how much? Providerki should not be there, especially treating people where you can not get another opinion immediately. Is that not what the minute clinic is there for? She said, of i can give you a note for work. Ma'am I don't need a note for work, I need to be at work.
Easy access great service friendly personnel
She told him that he had some gunk in his lung and get musinex to take. I asked her if she could give him some amoxicillin to help with it. She said “no, that’s for Pneumonia or strep. The next the is worse and goes to the ER. He stayed in the hospital for 4 days because he had pneumonia.
She didn't listen to me.
It was good
