The practitioner was very patient and answered all my questions.

My provider was very well informed & spent adequate time with me & answered my questions. She had been a little behind as sure was providing another patient with her expertise, but, I'd rather have a friendly, knowledgeable person who will take her time to have things taken care of than to overly rush things in order to run exactly on time. At my appointment, I received a TST for an academic requirement. While the nurse practitioner (NP) I had was extremely friendly and respectful, my experience with the licensed vocation nurse (LVN) was quite the opposite. During my first appointment, I had only been seen by the LVN, and didn't get seen by the NP until my second appointment for my reading. During my first appointment, my LVN seemed to show zero interest and was the opposite of friendly. She proceeded to speak to me in a way that came off very demeaning. She also made an assumption that because I was asian I had received a certain vaccine and began to counsel me on the potential of a false reading and was reluctant to administer the test. She threatened me that if I came back positive, I would be sent to a Dallas facility to do further TB testing, despite the fact I had had a previous TST negative reading in the past. Again, she spoke to me very aggressively after I informed her my school needs only a 2 step TST and NOT a blood test (quantiFERON) or chest x-ray. It just made me very uncomfortable, and has made me want to seek other means to get a test rather than CVS minute clinic in the future.

very professional and thorough

So I went to CVS clinic for an itch which was starting to become painful. The doctor recommends a specific ointment. On application of the ointment i had severe edema and ended up in the emergency room. I am a healthy person with no known allergies. This kind of allergic response is likely defective medicines or not be applied for an itch which I had. I don’t recommend CVS minute clinic or the pharmacy.

The doctor and nurse were both efficient and helpful.

It was easy to book an appointment and we were seen right on time. The Provider, NP was excellent! Caring, meticulous and had a calm approach to treating my teenage son.
