MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 8251 Columbine Road, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344

Eden Prairie is home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings football team, but the city has much more to offer. Parks and lakes abound, and with them, fishing, hiking and other outdoor recreations. Fish at Purgatory Lake, swim or disc golf at Bryant Lake and walk trails at Anderson Lakes. Golfers have their pick of several courses, including Olympic Hills, Braemar, Bent Creek and Bearpath. With all of these active pursuits, it’s inevitable that participants will experience some injuries. No worries, there’s also a MinuteClinic® here to set you right again. Our walk-in clinic is in the CVS Pharmacy® on Columbine Road, where it intersects Prairie Center Drive. We’re on the shore of Purgatory Creek and next door to the Broadmoor of Eden Prairie.

We provide a wide range of treatments

Whether you’ve come down with the case of the sniffles or need a fishing hook removed from your hand, our clinicians can help. We can assess and treat many illnesses and injuries, including these:

  • Sprains and muscle strains
  • Bronchitis and coughing
  • Nausea, heartburn and diarrhea
  • Minor cuts and wounds
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Sunburn and blisters
  • Sore or strep throats
  • Cold and flu symptoms
  • Rashes and skin conditions
  • Earaches and ear infections

Stop wondering and learn whether you are pregnant when you come in for a pregnancy evaluation. Additional women’s services that we offer include treatment for yeast and bladder infections and wellness exams. We can also provide birth control counseling and injections.

Impetigo and other skin conditions

Impetigo is a common skin condition for children that is highly contagious and can also spread to adults. Bacteria causes this condition, which appears as red sores on hands, nose or mouth or in the diaper area. If your child has impetigo, you need to have it treated quickly as scratching can cause it to spread. Come in and let our clinicians evaluate and treat it with antibiotic creams or medications, as indicated. Impetigo is just one of several conditions we can treat; others include shingles, scabies and cold sores.

Flu shots and immunizations

Flu shots are essential to safeguard your family from this annual virus that can be quite serious for some, and deadly for others. Populations at risk of experiencing flu-related complications include seniors over 65, children under age 5 and anyone whose immune system is weakened. Bring the entire family in for flu shots each October in advance of flu season, or as soon as possible once the season has started.

Our experience clinic team can also administer a wide range of immunizations for adults, seniors and children 18 months and older. Vaccinations for measles, rubella and other diseases are necessary for school-age children, while older youths may be due for updates. Adults of all ages may find benefits in additional vaccines for pneumonia, hepatitis A and B and more.
