Protect your family against cold and flu season
When the weather turns cold and damp, flu season has arrived. While colds often have symptoms that gradually worsen, flu-like symptoms often hit suddenly, from sore throats and watery eye to congestion, coughing and sneezing. Getting yourself and your family vaccinated before anyone has symptoms is the best way to avoid getting sick. We can administer a flu shot to patients 18 months and older. For children nine years and younger, we can deliver the pediatric vaccine in two doses. The high-dose version is available to individuals 65 and older.
The sooner treatment begins, the faster you can feel better. If symptoms already present, come to our clinic inside CVS Pharmacy® for an assessment. If it is the flu, on-staff health care providers can recommend a treatment plan that may include over the counter products or a one-time prescription. In addition to colds and flu, we can treat many common ailments including:
- Earaches and infections
- Bronchitis
- Mono
- Pink eye
- Upper respiratory infections
- Heartburn and indigestion
- Sore and strep throat
- UTIs and bladder infections
