I went in for a simple procedure- a check ear. I had fallen asleep with an earbud and realized the next morning the silicone tip was missing. Because of my travel schedule this week, I wanted to make sure it was not lodged in my ear. During the visit, I was asked the typical intake questions regarding mental health, despite never having related concerned. The appointment continued into memory-related questions, which I felt completely unrelated to the reason for my visit. I found this experience intrusive, discriminatory and a violation of my personal well-being and privacy. I am an executive for a global medical device firm! I can’t even believe this happened and feel overwhelmed with a sense of sorrow how people feel going through something like this! As a result of this experience, I will not be returning nor ever recommend CVS as a Minute Clinic!

Dr and nurse were very professional and listened to my concerns

Online scheduling was quick and easy. The only negative was that a number of people that were coming in happened to be sick (coughing, etc.) and the waiting area was very small. I was just coming in for some Vaccine shots and was waiting in the same area as people that were sick.

The person I saw spent more time looking for something and messaging someone on the computer than talking to me about why I was there. I was in for a sore throat and all that was accomplished was a negative strep test. I felt like I was taking up her time while she was doing something else.

Providerki was thorough, listened to everything I had to say about my condition, and provided me with different solutions depending on how my condition progressed. I was really grateful to get an appointment with such short notice and have my needs met.

The nurse practitioner did a very cursory exam and decided that I had a virus. Did not prescribe antibiotics. I was very sick, coughing, weak. I continued to get more and more sick until I wound up in the ER a few days later with pneumonia in both lung. I feel unhappy with the service I received and felt like the nurse practitioner really blew off my symptoms. I could have started my recovery days earlier if she had just taken my symptoms more seriously and prescribed the antibiotics that I actually needed.
