The RN was very efficient.
Provider complained the entire time about the time constraints she had from CVS to see me. Complained about steps to get approval for my visit through the VA, which listening into the automated call seems pretty simple and straightforward and quick. Instead of taking the time to listen and write down all the numbers she missed them and had to wait and speak to someone only to have them repeated to her. She said immediately that I should’ve scheduled a slot for a physical instead of being sick so that she would have time to call in the authorization. How would I have had any idea or knowledge to do that?
Booking the appointment was very quick and efficient.
NP could have been more pleasant and less condescending. Seems like CVS is focused on pushing vaccines and not treating symptoms.
The doctor immediately told me it was viral because she even examined me. She never swabbed me for Covid or the flu. She did finally look me over, say it was viral but that she would send in an antibiotic just in case. Now three days later both my girls are sick. Their doctor covered all the bases and swabbed them. It’s the flu. I’ve had the flu for 10 days with no knowledge because I was never swabbed when I first came in.
The Provider, ARNP, was on time and asked all the right questions. She’s a great listener. She provided very good care during my visit. I highly recommend the CVS minute clinic on Russ Ave.
