CVS and IDEMIA have joined forces to offer travelers TSA PreCheck enrollment that’s just around the corner from you, now available in select stores. Next day appointments are available. Does your local CVS offer TSA PreCheck enrollment? Check out available locations.
TSA PreCheck was created to provide low-risk travelers with a smoother experience at the airport security checkpoint. The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents as a great option for travelers looking to save time during the security screening process. It allows access to dedicated screening lanes at 200+ participating U.S. airports nationwide. IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck for $76.75, which covers five years of benefits, if approved.
Apply online
Submit an online application and schedule an in-person appointment at one of the locations. Be sure to check out if your local CVS has an IDEMIA enrollment station set up.
Enroll in person
Complete the 10-minute enrollment which includes capturing your fingerprints and photo for the TSA background check. Your payment will be collected. Be sure to bring documentation proving your identity and citizenship status
Get your Known Traveler Number (KTN)
Most travelers get their KTN in three to five days, but it may take up to 60 days. Once approved, add the KTN to your airline reservations and start saving time in screening.
